This course gives a foundation on the biomolecules of life. This includes the structure and function of carbohydrates, proteins, nucleic acids, vitamins, lipids, etc. The course also introduces the students to molecular biology of the cell with topics such as cell organelles, the cell cycle, DNA replication, Transcription, and Translation. The technique "Polymerase Chain Reaction" - PCR is also introduced here.
