The course is particularly relevant to those who aspire to conduct EIA as prescribed by the National Environmental Management and Coordination Act (EMCA), 1999 of Kenya. The course is relevant to students pursuing studies in education because it will prepare them to take up additional roles in training EIA associates besides being able to actively participate in reviewing past and ongoing EIA Reports of projects around the school and its environs.
