INTRODUCTION

The aim of Organizational Behaviour is to explain the behaviour of people in organizations. The experiences we encounter at workplaces can be explained by individual, group, organizational and contextual factors in and beyond the place of work. Organizational Behaviour although recognized in its own right draws from many disciplines.

PURPOSE

1. To introduce the study of human behaviour in organizations even for those with no previous  exposure.

2. To translate organizational behaviour concepts, theories and techniques into practical management and organizational settings

3. To enable learners recognize the social and cultural factors that influence behaviour in organizations.
